1. Saran Wrap Ball Game Prizes

The Saran Wrap Ball is all about surprise. Each layer hides something new, so it’s best to use a mix of cheap fillers and a few big surprises.

A smart twist: make two separate Saran Wrap Balls — one for kids and one for adults. That way, the prizes are age-appropriate and fun for everyone.

Minute to Win It games are short and silly, so the prizes should be quick, fun, and easy to hand out.

Where to Buy Christmas Game Prizes

You don’t need to hunt too far. Most of these can be found at:

  • Dollar Tree → perfect for fillers like candy, toys, stationery
  • Target / Walmart → great for cozy items, mugs, blankets, and affordable gift cards
  • Amazon → bulk packs of candy, toys, or themed prize bundles (and easy delivery)
  • Local stores → movie tickets, arcade tokens, or skating passes

Prize Budgeting Tips

You don’t have to overspend. Here’s a simple guide:

  • Saran Wrap Ball (10–12 players): $20–30 in fillers + $20–40 in big prizes
  • Minute to Win It: $10–20 for candy and trinkets
  • Gift Exchange: set a group budget ($10–$20 per gift is common)
  • Board Games & Dice Games: $15–30 depending on group size

The key is to mix fillers with a few surprises so every game feels exciting.

Kid vs. Adult Prize Adaptations

Many of these games work for both kids and adults, but the prizes should change:

  • For kids: stickers, toys, candy, coloring sets, puzzles, slime, Play-Doh, glow sticks
  • For adults: cash, gift cards, lottery tickets, mini alcohol bottles, cozy socks, candles, skincare items

If you’re planning for both, keep them separate (two Saran Wrap Balls or clearly labeled prizes) so everyone gets something age-appropriate.

Final Tip

Mix and match! You don’t need to buy everything on these lists. Start with candy and fun fillers, then add in a few exciting prizes like gift cards, cash, or cozy holiday items.

And remember, if kids and adults are both playing, make two Saran Wrap Balls so everyone ends up with prizes they’ll enjoy.

  1. My Grandchildren put the ball together with prizes I buy. My “evil” lol, Granddaughter always separates the sock’s and just wraps one at a time! Unless you are lucky enough to get both of them you have to negotiate a trade. It adds to the fun.
