BIBLE VERSES EXPRESSING THANKFULNESS AND GRATITUDE

I once read a quote that says, “there is always always something to be thankful for.” This is even truer when you have a little one growing in your womb.

If you are in need of bible verses to help you express your thankfulness to God for this season in your life, the book of Psalms is the bible book to read.

I’ve written out some verses from scripture to help you express gratitude to God for your unborn baby.

1 Chronicles 29 : 13

O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name! But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!

Psalm 9 : 1

I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.

Psalm 100 : 4 – 5

God has a purpose for every child.

Even if this isn’t clear from the onset, you can pray for God’s purpose for your child to be revealed to you (and your baby).

You can also pray that God’s purpose for your baby’s life will be fulfilled.

What a subtle reminder that God cares about every single aspect of our lives.

The cells, tissues, organs, and systems are all formed in the womb. We may not be able to see this development but God does.

He not only sees but He also is the one crafting your little one in the womb.

These bible verses are great for remembering that God is in control of your baby’s development. And if He watches over the sparrow, He will watch over your baby too!

With everything going on in the world right now, believing in God for protection is so important.

I love Psalm 91 because it’s a promise from God to keep us safe and secure even in times like these.

It’s the perfect bible verse for baby protection.

Confess this psalm of protection over your baby often!

If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. 

For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.

 You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.

Every mother believes her child is special.

I agree.

God has placed unique giftings in each child. Our job as parents is to help unravel these gifts and talents.

BIBLE VERSES THAT DECLARE A BLESSING OVER YOUR BABY

The scripture is full of blessings over us.

These verses show us God’s heart towards us. He really does love us!

Perhaps, the most common verse of blessing in the bible is the one called “The Benediction”.

It very recently formed the basis of the song, “The Blessing” by Elevation Worship, Kari Jobe and Cody Carne.

Found in Numbers 6:24-26, it’s perfect to pray over your baby in the womb even before your child is born.

The Lord bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you];  The Lord make His face shine upon you [with favor], And be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness];  The Lord lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval], And give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].
